Another #youtube channel in a similar vein to the last one: https://www.youtube.com/c/ErikAanderaa, run by a Norwegian called Erik. He sails the North Sea and Norwegian Sea — perhaps some of the most beautiful and unforgiving sailing waters there are. He turns individual passages into half-hour films with a Norse mythology theme, narrated in clear English. He recently posted a series about crossing the Norwegian Sea to Iceland and returning via the Faroe and Shetland Islands. Now he’s started a new series about sailing to Greenland. His videos are wonderfully atmospheric, full of freedom and testosterone, and utterly absorbing.
