The atmosphere was wonderfully friendly, though the organisation was lacking. You could forget the lesson plan straight away: the instructors carried the sessions on their own experience. And they did that rather well. They all held Master of Sport qualifications and competed at national level. Those six sessions gave us enough grounding to join other crews for training or amateur regattas. At the end, we received a commemorative certificate. I’d recommend the course to anyone completely new to sailing.
