For our sixth and final session, they organised a regatta: six yachts racing against each other. We had a start line and a turning buoy. The prizes were acrylic medals and a bottle of champagne. The weather let us down: with no wind, it was more like a tortoise race. Even so, it was fun. Some crews managed to catch little puffs of wind, some heeled the boat to good effect, and others tried to rock theirs ‘without anyone noticing’.
