To me, it’s one of the best apps I’ve seen. I shared my impressions in a couple of sailing chats. Seventeen people signed up through my link and immediately appeared as friends. Exploring their logbooks was fascinating.
Unexpectedly, a week later, an envelope arrived with a metal badge and a thank-you letter from the creators. Incredibly kind of them.
The surprises didn’t end there. A couple of weeks later, Captain German himself (@CGOffshore), who’d logged his latest passage to the Kingdom of Tonga, appeared among my friends. I’ve no idea how my link reached him.
